Castle Advance Security is owned by Jesse Kirkegaard, who began his federal law enforcement career with the U.S. Secret Service in 2002.

After graduating U.S. Secret Service Special Agent training, Jesse was assigned to the Hi-Tech Squad where he conducted computer crime investigations when not working protection assignments. During his time in the Hi-Tech Squad, he acquired network intrusion training, computer forensics training, and cell phone forensics training. In 2013, he was recognized as a Top 5 E-Tech Examiner from the U.S. Secret Service Electronic Crimes Special Agent Program.

Later in 2013, Jesse transferred to the George H. W. Bush Protective Detail in Houston, Texas. He worked full-time protection for five years, splitting his time between Houston and Kennebunkport, Maine each year.

In 2018, Jesse transferred to the San Antonio Field Office and continued conducting computer and cell phone forensics when not working protection assignments.

During these 17 years with the U.S. Secret Service, Jesse worked protection assignments for sitting Presidents and their immediate family members, sitting Vice Presidents, and numerous World Leaders.

In 2019, Jesse accepted a lateral transfer to the U. S. Postal Inspection Service, where he investigated crimes against the U. S. Postal Service. He was initially assigned to the Mail Theft Squad, where he investigated financial crimes, ID theft, and bank fraud. He later moved to the Violent Crimes Squad, where he investigated robberies and burglaries. Jesse also worked protection assignments for the Postmaster General during in-district visits.

Prior to federal service, Jesse provided Executive Protection for the CEO and Executives of Compaq Computer Corporation, a Fortune 500 information technology company.
